Safety Rules for Mixer of A Stationary Concrete Batching Plant

Brief Introduction：Haomei has a series of safety rules for concrete mixers of its stationary concrete batching plant. Please follow them during operation and maintenance.

　　Each kind of machines have its own safety rules. A stationary concrete batching plant is of no exception. As a huge mechanical equipment consisting of many units, a concrete plant is related to many safety rules, and so as its key parts like inclined belt conveyors and concrete mixers. The safety rules of concrete mixers are as below.

　　A. It’s necessary to avoid starting up a concrete mixer without load.

　　B. No standing under the outlet gate.

　　C. No reaching hands or items for the rotating part of a mixer, otherwise you may get injured or lead to failures of the mixer.

　　D. A twin shaft compulsive mixer like JS500, 750, 1000 and 1500 is suitable for mixing powder and particle materials whose size should be below 150mm. And materials with sizes between 120mm and 150mm should take up a maximum share of 12%. Larger-sized materials are not acceptable, so are materials whose humidity reaches 15%. Humid materials would stick to the mixing shaft and eventually reduce mixing efficiency. Thus it’s necessary to keep the mixing shaft clean.

　　E. No staff, except for specialized operators, should operate the mixer!

　　F. Operators must operate the mixer based on strict following of safety rules and normal working of the mixer!

　　G. Operators must check the the mixer and its surroundings carefully before starting it up to avoid all possible injuries!

　　H. In case of failures, please power off both the mixer and the whole plant, and try to solve the problem immediately!

　　I. In case of checking, maintenance and repairing, the following measures must be taken to avoid unexpected running of the mixer: 1. Power off the whole plant, lock the power case and take away the key to the case. 2. Leave an alarm notice by the case.
